In 1981, Apple ran a full page ad in the Wall Street Journal. The ad welcomes their main competition at the time into the personal computing market. The approach is truthful and honest. Branding at its best.
Its also ironic that Apple’s Macintosh computers currently rely on IBM’s technology, but will be switching to Intel in the next year.
